Arts
At Randolph, the arts are an essential part of a complete education, woven into the fabric of student life. From the earliest grades through graduation, every student has the opportunity to create, perform, explore, and discover where their talents and passions can take them.
Lower School
Lower School students experience the arts as a fundamental part of their weekly rhythm.
Students participate in music and art throughout each week, giving every child consistent opportunities to create and express themselves.
Middle School
Middle School builds on the foundation introduced in the Lower School, with a continued commitment to excellence in both visual and performing arts. Students begin with broad exposure across the arts before moving toward greater specialization as their interests emerge.
They begin to discover their individual artistic interests through band, choir, theatre, and visual arts, finding the areas where their creativity and passion thrive.
Upper School
In Upper School, possibilities expand. With 21 unique arts course offerings, students can explore new disciplines or develop deep expertise in the areas they love most.
Advanced and AP courses in both visual and performing arts provide opportunities for students to pursue the highest levels of artistic study while building the skills, confidence, and creative voice to carry with them beyond Randolph.
Discovering Passion
Leading by Example

“Ms. Sweet helps you believe that you can do things you didn't think you could. She encourages you to keep trying, and makes you feel proud when you finally realize that you really can do it.”

“Mr. Townsend is a constant source of encouragement. His classroom blends creativity and technology, but his greatest lesson is helping students discover what they're capable of.”
From first notes and rhythms to final performances, first sketches to advanced portfolios, Randolph uses the arts to develop more than artists. We develop creative thinkers, confident communicators, and compassionate people who are ready to make their mark on the world.

'Puffs' by Theatre Randolph
For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.
‘Puffs’ is a hilarious, heartfelt play that is full of heart, humor, and plenty of magic.
